The National Bank of Pakistan is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer (Quotation) at the OG-II/OG-I level to join their team. This role involves managing and overseeing the procurement process, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in obtaining competitive quotations, evaluating suppliers, and facilitating timely procurement to support the bank’s operational needs. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for goods and services through quotations, ensuring transparency and adherence to the bank’s procurement policies.
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) and evaluate received quotations based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.
- Liaise with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier evaluations, and contracts for audit and compliance purposes.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms and resolve any procurement-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal controls related to procurement activities.
- Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and supplier performance.
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation required for management review and decision-making.

Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution.
- Relevant experience in procurement, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and quotation evaluation.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Additional certifications or training in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields will be considered an advantage.
- Experience working in a regulated financial institution or familiarity with government procurement rules is preferred.
