Procurement Specialist

Yadea Pakistan is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to support its manufacturing and project procurement functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing quotations, processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and following up on deliveries. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and efficient availability of materials while focusing on cost optimization and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Source materials by obtaining quotations, evaluating supplier offers, and issuing purchase orders aligned with production and project needs.
- Monitor supplier deliveries, order quantities, and material quality; proactively resolve issues such as delivery delays, shortages, and other supply-related challenges.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase prices, supplier lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and supplier master data.
- Coordinate closely with Planning, Warehouse, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure smooth material receiving, verification, documentation, and payment processing.
- Support local sourcing initiatives and procurement cost-reduction efforts while assisting in the development of alternative suppliers to enhance supply reliability.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, ERP systems, and supplier delivery management.
- Basic skills in cost analysis and supplier negotiation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and respond promptly to urgent material shortages.
- Proficiency in English and Urdu.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of the Chinese language will be considered an advantage.
