Yadea Pakistan is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join their team in Lahore. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing and project procurement activities by managing material sourcing, quotation evaluation, purchase order processing, and supplier coordination. This position requires ensuring timely availability of materials while optimizing costs and maintaining strong communication with various internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Source materials by obtaining quotations, evaluating supplier offers, and issuing purchase orders aligned with production and project needs.
- Monitor supplier deliveries, order quantities, and material quality, addressing any delays, shortages, or supply-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase prices, supplier lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and supplier master data.
- Coordinate closely with Planning, Warehouse, Quality, and Finance teams to facilitate smooth material receiving, verification, documentation, and payment processing.
- Support local sourcing initiatives, contribute to procurement cost-reduction efforts, and assist in developing alternative suppliers to enhance supply reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, ERP systems, and supplier delivery management.
- Basic skills in cost analysis and supplier negotiation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, work under pressure, and respond quickly to urgent material shortages.
- Proficiency in English and Urdu.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Chinese language will be considered an advantage.
