Procurement Specialist - Yadea Pakistan

Yadea Pakistan is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join their team in Lahore. This role focuses on supporting manufacturing and project procurement activities by managing material sourcing, quotation evaluation, purchase order processing, supplier coordination, and delivery follow-ups. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient availability of materials while optimizing costs to support smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Source materials by obtaining quotations, evaluating supplier offers, and issuing purchase orders in line with production and project requirements.
- Monitor supplier deliveries, order quantities, and material quality to address and resolve delivery delays, shortages, and other supply-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase prices, supplier lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and supplier master data.
- Coordinate closely with Planning, Warehouse, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure seamless material receiving, verification, documentation, and payment processing.
- Support local sourcing initiatives, contribute to procurement cost-reduction efforts, and assist in developing alternative suppliers to enhance supply reliability.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, ERP systems, and supplier delivery management.
- Basic skills in cost analysis and supplier negotiation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and respond swiftly to urgent material shortages.
- Proficiency in English and Urdu.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of the Chinese language will be considered an advantage.
