Product Analyst - SaaS & Digital Marketplaces

We are seeking a Product Analyst with 1 to 3 years of professional experience in SaaS, digital products, or technology platforms. The role is based onsite in Gulberg III, Lahore, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product research and analysis, particularly within freelance marketplaces and SaaS environments, and will be responsible for driving product improvements through detailed competitor and user journey analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive product and competitor research across SaaS products, freelance marketplaces, and other digital platforms.
- Analyze platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, LinkedIn, and similar products to understand features, user journeys, workflows, and product strategies.
- Deconstruct competitor features to identify how they function and uncover opportunities to enhance our own products.
- Examine user journeys to spot friction points, gaps, and areas for product improvement.
- Translate business requirements and user challenges into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Develop and maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, feature specifications, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to refine product flows and enhance user experiences.
- Work alongside engineering teams during development to clarify requirements and ensure accurate feature implementation.
- Support feature prioritization, backlog management, sprint planning, and contribute to product roadmap discussions.
- Participate in product testing and validate completed features against defined requirements.
- Collect and analyze feedback from users, customers, and internal teams to recommend product enhancements.
- Monitor product usage and relevant metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
- Research emerging trends in SaaS, marketplaces, AI, and product development to inform future strategies.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Product Management, Product Analysis, Product Operations, SaaS, or a similar technology role.
- Hands-on experience working with freelance marketplaces such as Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, or comparable platforms.
- Strong understanding of SaaS products and digital platform business models.
- Proven ability in competitor analysis, market research, and product benchmarking.
- Skilled at breaking down complex product workflows into clear, actionable requirements.
- Experience preparing PRDs, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, research, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of product research and analysis tasks.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with B2B SaaS products.
- Familiarity with two-sided marketplaces, talent platforms, recruitment technology, HR-tech, or professional services platforms.
- Knowledge of tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Notion, Figma, Trello, or similar product and project management software.
- Understanding of product analytics, user behavior, funnels, and conversion metrics.
- Exposure to AI-powered products, APIs, integrations, or workflow automation.
- Experience working in startup or fast-paced technology environments.

This is a full-time, onsite position located in Gulberg III, Lahore. The monthly salary range is Rs100,000 to Rs130,000. Candidates should be comfortable commuting to the office location.
