A leading client is seeking a talented Product Designer with strong expertise in UX/UI, Figma, and design systems to join their fully remote team. This full-time role involves owning the entire product design process, from user research and UX flows to wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity interfaces, and developer handoff. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to simplify complex workflows and deliver user-friendly, accessible, and scalable digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate combines solid UX thinking, UI craftsmanship, product problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Figma, working during U.S. business hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct user research and product discovery through interviews, usability tests, surveys, and data analysis using tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, and Hotjar.
- Identify user pain points and translate insights into personas, journey maps, user flows, and interaction models.
- Design intuitive workflows and product flows for web and mobile, creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and simplifying complex interactions.
- Develop polished, high-fidelity interfaces using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, ensuring responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Establish clear visual hierarchy, interaction patterns, micro-interactions, and maintain interface consistency while balancing usability and functionality.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable component libraries, defining standards for typography, spacing, color, icons, and UI patterns.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define requirements, prepare developer-ready designs, assets, specifications, and documentation.
- Utilize Figma Dev Mode or similar workflows for efficient handoff, review implementations, resolve design discrepancies, and support QA through development and release.
- Conduct usability reviews, gather user and stakeholder feedback, run or support A/B tests, and continuously iterate to improve usability, engagement, retention, and task completion.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Product Design or UX/UI Design.
- Strong proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Experience designing responsive web and mobile products.
- Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Proven ability to create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
- Experience collaborating directly with product and engineering teams.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, UX problem-solving, and not just visual design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working remotely during U.S. business hours.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience designing SaaS platforms, B2B products, or consumer applications.
- Familiarity with building or maintaining design systems and component libraries.
- Knowledge of product analytics and experimentation tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Optimizely, and Hotjar.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or front-end development fundamentals.
- Experience working in Agile or sprint-based product teams.
- Opportunity for career growth into senior roles such as Senior Product Designer, Lead Product Designer, UX Lead, or Head of Design.
- High ownership in a remote product environment with direct collaboration across product and engineering teams.
- Engage in meaningful UX and workflow challenges while influencing product experience and design systems across multiple platforms.

Candidates will undergo a structured interview process including an initial phone screen, video interview, portfolio review with a practical task, client interview, and background verification. Qualified applicants will be invited to complete a one-way video interview to showcase their experience in product design, UX/UI, Figma, user research, prototyping, and collaboration.

If you have a strong portfolio, enjoy solving complex user problems, and are proficient in modern product design practices, this role offers a unique chance to create intuitive, scalable digital products that deliver exceptional user experiences.
