Product Designer

SmartLane is seeking two Mid-Level Product Designers to join our dynamic product team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our B2B logistics and financial operations platform tailored for e-commerce merchants. You will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that serve the Pakistani e-commerce market, contributing to a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the entire product design process, from problem definition through to the final shipped product.
- Design user flows, interfaces, and interaction patterns that are clear and user-friendly.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
- Contribute to and maintain a consistent and scalable design system that supports product growth.
- Present design decisions confidently and incorporate feedback to refine solutions.
- Focus on creating simple, intuitive experiences specifically tailored for the Pakistani e-commerce market.

Required Qualifications

- Approximately 4 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing real, shipped products.
- Proficiency in Figma and experience working extensively with design systems.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools such as Lovable, Claude Code, or Codex.
- Prior experience mentoring or reviewing the work of other designers.
- Strong skills in UX writing and problem-solving, demonstrating an ability to think critically about user needs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, courier services, or order-management platforms is highly desirable.
- Background in designing for cash-on-delivery (COD) or payment workflows, especially within emerging markets.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS to facilitate better collaboration with engineering teams.
