Product Designer

We are seeking a skilled Product Designer to lead the end-to-end design process for digital products, primarily within SaaS or similar digital environments. The ideal candidate will take ownership from initial discovery and problem definition through to high-fidelity design, development handoff, and post-launch iteration. This role requires close collaboration with clients, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create user-centered, business-aligned solutions that drive measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the complete design lifecycle for digital products, including discovery, problem definition, wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity UI design, handoff, and iteration after launch.
- Communicate directly with clients by leading discovery calls, gathering requirements, presenting design concepts, explaining decisions clearly, and managing feedback and revisions professionally.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define user problems, prioritize features, and ensure designs align with business goals and success metrics.
- Conduct user research such as interviews, usability testing, and surveys, and translate insights into personas, journey maps, and informed product decisions.
- Develop user flows, information architecture, and feature logic, accounting for edge cases, empty states, and error states.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs to validate concepts before development.
- Utilize product analytics, heatmaps, and session recordings to evaluate feature performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with developers to ensure technical feasibility, providing clear specifications and supporting smooth handoff during implementation.
- Build and maintain design systems and reusable components to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
- Conduct UX audits on existing products and recommend prioritized improvements to enhance user experience.

Required Qualifications

- 2 to 4 years of experience in product design or UX/UI design, preferably with SaaS or digital products. Exceptional candidates with less experience but a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with demonstrated experience communicating directly with clients through calls, presentations, emails, and feedback sessions.
- A portfolio featuring 2 to 3 product case studies that clearly show problem definition, design decisions and trade-offs, and the resulting impact or outcomes—not just final visual designs.
- Strong product thinking skills, with the ability to connect design decisions to user needs and business metrics.
- Proficiency in Figma, including auto layout, components, variables, and prototyping, as well as experience using FigJam.
- Hands-on experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as GA4, Mixpanel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar platforms to inform design decisions.
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards, specifically WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
