Product Designer

We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our expanding design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive product experiences, guiding projects from initial user research and wireframing through to high-fidelity design and final handoff. You will operate at the crossroads of user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver intuitive, effective, and engaging products.

Key Responsibilities
- Design user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for both web and mobile platforms.
- Develop polished, high-fidelity mockups that align with established design systems and brand guidelines.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform and validate design decisions.
- Manage design documentation, including component specifications, and ensure smooth handoff to engineering teams.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback, analytics, and product performance metrics.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to align on product vision and prioritize features effectively.
- Maintain and evolve design systems, component libraries, and overall design standards to ensure consistency and scalability.

Required Qualifications
- 1.5 to 2 years of experience in product design, preferably within SaaS, fintech, healthcare, or B2B sectors.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
- A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work, including research, wireframes, prototypes, and polished visuals.
- Solid understanding of UX principles, including usability, accessibility, and information architecture.
- Experience designing for complex workflows, multi-user systems, or enterprise dashboards is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale to diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, curious, and open to feedback, with a strong desire for continuous growth.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with design systems and component documentation.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or prototyping skills using tools like Framer or Webflow.
- Background in fintech, payments, or regulated industries is advantageous.
- Familiarity with data visualization and dashboard design.
- Portfolio that includes mobile app or responsive web design projects.
- Experience presenting design work to clients or executive-level stakeholders.

Design Portfolio Requirements
- Include 2 to 3 case studies that demonstrate the full design process: defining the problem, conducting research, ideation, and delivering the final solution.
- Show clear evidence of user-centered design thinking through interviews, wireframes, iterative testing, and feedback incorporation.
- Present high-fidelity mockups and prototypes that highlight visual polish and attention to detail.
- Feature a variety of project scopes, including at least one complex or multi-screen product rather than single marketing pages.
