Social Champ is a bootstrapped SaaS platform serving marketers, agencies, and creators across more than 100 countries. We are developing an AI-first social media management tool that enables teams to plan, publish, engage, analyze, and collaborate across multiple social networks from a single platform. We are seeking a hands-on Product Manager to join our team—someone who thrives in ambiguity and can transform loosely defined problems into clear, actionable product decisions that engineering teams can confidently build. This role involves working closely with technical, design, marketing, and customer success teams, reporting directly to the Head of Product & Growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze brief, high-level problem statements and determine what to build, prioritizing the most valuable slice to develop first.
- Engage directly with customers, examine actual feature usage, and research competitor solutions to validate assumptions before making decisions.
- Write detailed product specifications including user flows, edge cases, states, and acceptance criteria that QA can test against.
- Make clear decisions about what will not be built and confidently communicate the rationale to senior stakeholders.
- Define tracking events to measure feature success post-launch, and review the data to assess impact.
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Lead throughout the build process and coordinate with design and marketing teams for successful launches.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of direct product management experience, not adjacent roles.
- Strong analytical mindset with a habit of asking clarifying questions before defining solutions.
- Ability to articulate trade-offs in decisions, acknowledging both benefits and downsides.
- Comfortable changing opinions based on evidence and able to defend decisions when necessary.
- Proactive in reviewing data independently rather than relying solely on dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Experience in B2B SaaS environments, particularly with agency or multi-client workflows, is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media tools and working alongside small engineering teams is advantageous.
- This role does not involve owning company strategy or managing a team; it is focused on hands-on product specification and execution.
- The roadmap may be imperfect, with some features inactive or metrics incomplete; uncovering and addressing these issues is part of the role.
Role Details
- Location: Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 3, Karachi
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid
- Experience: 3+ years
- Work Schedule: Flexible, with core collaboration hours typically between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM
Candidates who apply are encouraged to include a product specification or PRD they have personally authored that was used by an engineering team to build a real feature. This will help demonstrate hands-on experience and attention to detail in product management work.
