Product Research Specialist – E-commerce (Product Hunter, Two-Step Dropshipping)

A well-established UK-based e-commerce company with over 11 years of industry experience is looking to hire a skilled Product Hunter to join their Lahore office. This full-time, on-site position focuses on sourcing high-potential products tailored for a two-step dropshipping model. The role demands a strong grasp of market trends, competitor analysis, and supplier verification to ensure profitable product selection. The working hours are from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, including a one-hour break, to align with UK business hours. The position offers a monthly salary between PKR 40,000 and 50,000 and is located at Global Heights, Johar Town, Lahore.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify profitable products daily by analyzing competitor sales history, market demand, and emerging trends.
- Assess demand versus competition using key metrics such as sell-through rates, live listing counts, and pricing gaps.
- Source and verify suppliers by evaluating pricing, shipping times, ratings, and stock reliability, incorporating two-step costs into margin calculations.
- Screen products for trademark and VeRO risks, as well as restricted categories, before submission.
- Calculate overall profitability by factoring in product cost, forwarding and handling fees, shipping charges, and margins prior to product approval.
- Prioritize products that fit the two-step dropshipping criteria, focusing on size, weight, stable supply, and consistent quality.
- Maintain organized tracking sheets and consistently meet daily and weekly product sourcing targets.
- Collaborate closely with listing and advertising teams to monitor the performance of submitted products and optimize results.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BSc or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in product hunting for two-step dropshipping; this expertise will be evaluated during the interview process.
- Clear understanding of the differences between two-step and direct dropshipping, including cost structures, dispatch locations, and delivery timelines.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, research tools, browser extensions, and fast, accurate data handling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and identify unique product opportunities.
- Creative mindset capable of discovering new niches, angles, and product variations rather than replicating competitors.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and honest in reporting numbers.
- Good command of written English.
- Willingness to work the 2 PM to 11 PM shift to align with UK business hours.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with research tools such as ZIK Analytics, Terapeak, or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the UK market is a plus.
