Product Research Specialist - Product Hunting & UK Supplier Sourcing

M98M LTD, a UK-based e-commerce retailer with multiple established selling accounts on major UK online marketplaces, is seeking a Product Hunter to join its Lahore office located at Global Heights, Johar Town. This role plays a vital part in supporting the UK operations by conducting thorough product research, managing listings, advertising, processing orders, and handling customer service. The Product Hunter will focus on sourcing winning products from UK dropshipping and wholesale suppliers that can be reliably fulfilled. The position requires working UK hours on-site from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, ensuring that only carefully vetted products move forward to listing, advertising, and shipping stages.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily product hunting by analyzing competitor sales history, demand data, and market trends to identify profitable items.
- Review UK dropshipping and wholesale supplier catalogues and product feeds to select products worth listing.
- Match supplier stock with live marketplace demand, considering sell-through rates, listing counts, and pricing gaps.
- Verify UK suppliers by assessing trade pricing, stock availability, reliability, dispatch cut-off times, delivery services, lead times, returns policies, and dropshipping permissions on marketplaces.
- Calculate full profitability before approving products, factoring in trade cost, carriage, marketplace fees, VAT, and final margin; reject products that do not meet profit thresholds.
- Screen products for trademark issues, brand restrictions, and restricted-category risks before submission.
- Prioritize products suitable for UK dropshipping based on reliable stock, fast dispatch, size, weight, and consistent quality.
- Identify and evaluate new UK supplier options, including managing trade-account applications and obtaining catalogue or feed access.
- Maintain organized hunting sheets and consistently meet daily and weekly product targets.
- Track the performance of submitted products with listing and advertising teams, learning from unsuccessful items to improve future selections.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BSc or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Minimum of one year of hands-on product hunting experience in e-commerce or dropshipping, with skills assessed during the interview.
- Strong understanding of dropshipping cost structures, including trade price versus retail, carriage, marketplace fees, VAT, and margin calculations.
- Proficient computing skills, especially with Google Sheets, Excel, research tools, and browser extensions, enabling fast and accurate data handling.
- Sharp analytical abilities to interpret sales data and identify unique opportunities.
- Creative mindset to discover new product angles, niches, and variations rather than replicating competitors.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and honest with numerical data.
- Good written English communication skills.
- Willingness to work the 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift on-site in Johar Town.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience sourcing from UK wholesalers or dropshipping suppliers is advantageous.
- Familiarity with marketplace research tools such as ZIK Analytics, Terapeak, or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of the UK market and consumer preferences.
- Full-time, on-site position with a minimum one-year contract, renewable after the first year.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs50,000.
- Work location: Global Heights, Johar Town, Lahore.
- English language proficiency required.
