Reports to: Production Manager/Supervisor
Location: Gujranwala, Muridkey
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Production Assistant to support our production team. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality products, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Support: Assist production staff with various tasks, including preparing materials, operating equipment, and assembling products.
2. Quality Control: Monitor product quality and report any defects or issues to the production supervisor.
3. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing materials, and tracking inventory levels.
4. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning equipment and work areas.
5. Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and procedures, and report any safety concerns to the production supervisor.
6. Communication: Communicate effectively with production staff, supervisors, and other departments.
7. Data Entry: Assist with data entry, including tracking production data, inventory levels, and quality control metrics.
8. Special Projects: Assist with special projects, including new product development, process improvements, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
2. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
3. Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
4. Knowledge: Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, and inventory management.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certifications: Certifications in production, quality control, or a related field are desirable.
2. Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and experience with inventory management software.
3. Industry experience: Experience in a similar industry or sector, such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, or automotive.
