Production Manager - Boutique

A luxury boutique located in Zamzama, Karachi is seeking a dedicated and organized Production Manager to lead and manage all aspects of its production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that every outfit and order is completed on time, within budget, and meets the highest quality standards. This role requires overseeing the production team, coordinating schedules, and managing salary administration. The position is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Saturday, 12 PM to 9 PM, and offers a monthly salary ranging from PKR 45,000 to 50,000.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage daily and overall production operations to consistently meet delivery deadlines. Monitor and understand the time required for each stage of production, from cutting through to finishing, to optimize workflow. Identify and resolve any bottlenecks or delays that may arise during the production process.

Supervise and guide the production staff, including cutters, tailors, finishers, helpers, and other team members. Allocate work efficiently and monitor team productivity to ensure smooth operations. Maintain attendance records and manage employee shifts effectively.

Handle employee salaries, overtime, and payroll documentation accurately. Monitor production output against set targets while ensuring that quality standards are consistently upheld. Work to minimize rework and reduce wastage in order to control production costs.

Oversee the overall operations of the production unit and coordinate closely with design, sales, and purchasing teams regarding orders and material requirements. Maintain accurate production, inventory, and payroll records using Microsoft Excel. Prepare regular reports on production output, costs, and manpower to support management decisions.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in production or manufacturing management, preferably within the garment or apparel industry. Strong understanding of production processes and timing for each outfit stage. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, tracking sheets, and report generation.

Basic accounting knowledge related to costing, payroll, and expense tracking is essential. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills to effectively supervise and motivate the production team. Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities to handle day-to-day challenges.

Willingness to work flexible hours as required by production demands, specifically Monday to Saturday from 12 PM to 9 PM.

This role requires in-person attendance at the boutique’s location in Zamzama, Karachi. Candidates must be comfortable with the specified working hours and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

The salary offered for this position ranges from PKR 45,000 to 50,000 per month.
