Job Title: Production Officer

Location: Kamion Pharma, Plot No. G-4/C, SITE, Super Highway Phase 2, Karachi, Pakistan

The Production Officer will support the Production Manager in overseeing daily production operations to ensure all activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company procedures, GMP, ISO, and DRAP standards. This role requires close monitoring of production processes, maintaining hygiene in production areas, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Production Manager and Assistant Production Manager in daily production planning and execution.
- Ensure all production activities comply with SOPs, GMP, ISO, DRAP, and safety protocols.
- Monitor production areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene, especially in sterile environments.
- Enforce adherence to SOPs, safety regulations, and proper gowning procedures among production staff.
- Inspect machines and equipment during production runs and promptly report any issues to the Production Manager or Maintenance team.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packing materials, and other production supplies; notify the Production Manager in advance of any shortages.
- Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, checklists, and other required paperwork.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Warehouse, and Maintenance departments on routine production matters.
- Report any production delays, material shortages, or operational problems to the Production Manager immediately.
- Assist during internal and external audits and support the implementation of corrective actions as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharm-D or D-Pharmacy.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing.
- Basic understanding of GMP, ISO, DRAP regulations, and production SOPs.
- Familiarity with production documentation and stock control procedures.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working in sterile or controlled production areas is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of wound dressings, bandages, tapes, patches, or sterilization processes is an advantage.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and reporting skills are essential for effective coordination and problem-solving.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, on-site position based at Kamion Pharma’s manufacturing facility. Candidates should be prepared to work additional hours during peak production periods as required.
