You will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing production operations at our manufacturing site in Pakistan. Collaborating closely with operators, maintenance teams, quality assurance, and contractors, you will ensure equipment runs safely and reliably. Your responsibilities will include solving technical issues, coaching colleagues, and driving process improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment to achieve safety, quality, and output goals.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, coordinating timely repairs with maintenance teams and contractors.
- Maintain detailed production and maintenance records, including downtime, changeovers, and shift handovers.
- Collaborate with quality and safety teams to uphold Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
- Supervise, coach, and support technicians or operators to ensure consistent shift performance.
- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience working within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) setting.
- Practical knowledge of production equipment operation and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical documents and maintain accurate operational records.
- Experience with equipment such as compression, granulation, coating, encapsulation, filling, or packing machinery.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar production record systems and strong proficiency in Excel.
- Experience supervising small teams or coaching technicians.
- Understanding of sterile area procedures or cleanroom operations.
- Knowledge of risk assessment and safety hazard controls in manufacturing.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
