Production Support Officer

This role involves working within the packaging operations of the Non-Ceph Value Stream, ensuring that production targets are met while strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and regulatory standards. The position requires active participation in maintaining operational efficiency, data integrity, and compliance, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of the work area by promoting zero waste initiatives and completing ZAP & ZIP reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date records daily, including production, downtime, changeover, and preventive maintenance logs for the Non-Ceph Value Stream.
- Propose and implement measures to improve machine efficiency (OEE) and maintain toolkit data.
- Monitor and ensure all production floor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, such as adherence to daily OEE targets and conformance to the daily production plan.
- Enforce GMP compliance, including proper labeling, in-process controls (IPC), and line clearance, alongside EHS compliance such as zero access and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures during operations.
- Operate in a cost-efficient manner by ensuring right-first-time production, minimizing changeovers, and reducing waste.
- Identify, suggest, and implement Operational Excellence (OE) projects upon management approval.
- Maintain comprehensive machine records, including daily logbooks, maintenance, cleaning, and changeover documentation.
- Ensure data integrity compliance and enhance data integrity controls following ALCOA+ principles within the Non-Ceph Value Stream.
- Complete all packaging operations and inspection-related end-to-end production SAP transactions in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (DAE) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing or packaging operations.
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and technical instructions accurately.
- Familiarity with GMP and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic production equipment.
- Reliable attendance with a willingness to work on-site shifts.
- Basic proficiency in spoken and written Urdu or English to ensure clear communication and reporting.
