Key Areas of Responsibility
- Leading a small team of developers and coordinating development activities
- Requirement Gathering, system analysis documentation.
- Leading customer workshops to capture ETL Requirements
- Design, develop, test, support processes for extracting and loading data from source systems to DWH and DM
- Analysis and designing, logical and physical model optimization.
- Mentoring junior members of the team in software development best practices
- Developing project deliverable documentation.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor/ Master in computer science , IT, Engineering
- Minimum of 6 years as an internal or external consultant with a broad data warehouse
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a successful Consulting delivery business
- Overall 7+ years of industry experience; the telecom industry will be a plus.
- Experience in Physical Model
- Comprehensive knowledge of relational database/Data warehouse and data modeling
- Extensive knowledge of one of the ETL tools: Informatica PowerCenter or DataStage.
- Linux Command line as a user knowledge, Shell Scripting.
- Advanced Communication skills: being able to communicate with heads of business departments
- Previous Team Leader experience.
