Professional Employers (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a skilled Oracle Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports, and system integrations. This role involves developing and maintaining Oracle-based applications, designing database solutions, integrating REST APIs, and supporting logistics and supply chain operations. The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions tailored to business needs, focusing on logistics and supply chain systems.
- Create and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages to enhance system performance.
- Develop and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports for user interface and reporting requirements.
- Perform data modeling using Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler to ensure database design aligns with application requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate REST APIs, ensuring data consistency and seamless communication between systems.
- Analyze and troubleshoot Oracle database issues, performance bottlenecks, and provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain and review existing database code and objects to improve functionality, scalability, and security.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand technical requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
- Create technical documentation for database designs, processes, and workflows to support knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Monitor and establish best practices for database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
- Stay up to date with the latest Oracle development tools, features, and industry trends to enhance development practices.
