Responsibilities:
1. Be actively involved in the planning & implementation of new projects
2. Provide technical support for software issues our system encounter
3. Manage the configuration and operation of server operating systems
4. Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
5. Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
6. Administrate infrastructure, including storage, databases, malware protection software and other processes
7. Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support with on-call rotation
8. Respond to and resolve help desk requests
9. Take full ownership to work with various teams to resolve any production related incidents
Qualification & Experience
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
3. For L2 engineer, at least 5 years of experience in System administration.
Knowledge & Skills
1. Must have operational knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and the experience creating and managing Group Policy Objects
2. Experience with Microsoft operating systems
3. Experience implementing or managing Citrix(Xenapp/Xendesktop), FusionAccess etc.
4. Experience with virtualization (VMware), FusionCompute etc.
5. Strong background with Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory Policy Management and Storage Area Networks.
6. Recent and relevant hands-on experience with the administration of database (MS SQL/Oracle) backups and restores
7. Experience with Linux or UNIX administration (Clustering, High Availability, Load Balancing, etc.)
8. Hands-on experience in managing web servers (Apache, Tomcat, JBoss).
9. Good working knowledge of implementation of SSL Certificates
10. Strong knowledge of performance management and capacity planning
11. ITIL Knowledge (Incident /Problem /Change Management)
12. Experience in scripting bash, Perl, or Python, etc.
