Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) is looking for an experienced and motivated Program Manager to join its Provincial Headquarter in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on a contract basis. The selected candidate will work closely with PRCS, Norwegian Red Cross (NorCross), local authorities, and provincial and district teams to ensure the smooth planning, implementation, and monitoring of NorCross-supported programs in the region. Reporting directly to the Secretary and Deputy Director-Health of PRCS KP, the Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating program activities and maintaining strong partnerships across multiple levels to achieve program objectives effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the overall goals and objectives of PRCS while upholding the principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
- Serve as the main liaison at the PRCS Provincial Headquarter, managing the implementation of agreements between PRCS and NorCross Pakistan Country Office.
- Coordinate with joint PRCS/NorCross staff at provincial and district branches to ensure program activities are executed according to approved plans and frameworks.
- Facilitate communication and organize meetings between PRCS, NorCross, and Partner National Societies (PNS) at the provincial level to strengthen coordination mechanisms.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with program teams and relevant focal persons.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor the quality and progress of activities, providing guidance and resolving challenges faced by staff. Extensive travel and field stays are required.
- Organize and lead quarterly review and planning meetings at the provincial level.
- Stay informed about frameworks and guidelines from IFRC, government bodies, and other stakeholders to promote best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders involved in health activities, including government departments, PDMA, FDMA, UN agencies, and INGOs, to support networking and consortium building.
- Collaborate with NorCross program staff in budget preparation, revision, and monitoring.
- Prepare annual plans and track the implementation of activities in coordination with relevant colleagues.
- Consolidate and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on program progress.
- Draft field monitoring reports highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations.
- Participate in relevant meetings as required.
- Initiate purchase requisitions based on program needs and submit them to NorCross.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management in line with program requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences is required; a Master’s degree in Public Health is preferred.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience managing multisectoral projects, resource mobilization, and multitasking.
- Demonstrated skills in partnership building, coordination, networking, and program integration.
- Experience in proposal writing and project management.
- Strong monitoring and evaluation skills.
- Excellent reporting and communication abilities.

Competencies:
- Proficiency in narrative and financial reporting.
- Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills in local languages, Urdu, and English.
- Willingness to travel extensively within and outside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

- Candidates must have domicile in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
