Position: Senior Magento 2 Developer Location: Rawalpindi, Pakistan Employment Type: Full-time Salary: 100k - 150k
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, enhance, and maintain Magento 2-based e-commerce websites and extensions.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and customize Magento 2 modules and extensions based on project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the smooth functioning of Magento 2 websites.
- Optimize website performance and implement best practices for scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with Magento 2 updates, trends, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in Magento 2 development, with a strong focus on backend development.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Magento 2 architecture, concepts, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience working with Magento 2 themes, extensions, and APIs.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as jQuery and Bootstrap.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have:
- Magento 2 certification(s) or relevant certifications.
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
