The role involves managing the daily operations, planning, and administration of academic programs to ensure smooth functioning within the organization. This position requires coordination of both academic and administrative activities for the NSHS and Human Nutrition & Dietetics (HND) department. The incumbent will oversee course offerings, semester schedules, timetables, faculty teaching assignments, and course registration processes. Acting as the primary academic liaison for NSHS and HND students, the individual will facilitate the resolution of academic and administrative issues while working closely with faculty on course delivery, attendance, assessments, grading, and timely submission of academic records.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate academic and administrative activities of NSHS and HND departments.
- Manage course offerings, semester schedules, timetables, faculty assignments, and student registration.
- Serve as the main academic contact for students, addressing academic and administrative concerns.
- Collaborate with faculty regarding course delivery, attendance tracking, assessments, grading, and academic record submissions.
- Facilitate student orientation, academic advising, registration, progression monitoring, and degree completion processes.
- Oversee coordination of laboratory, practical, clinical, internship, and field-based training components within the HND department.
- Organize midterm and final examinations, assessments, results compilation, and related examination activities.
- Maintain and update program records, course files, student documentation, and reports in compliance with NUST and accreditation requirements.
- Coordinate preparation for council accreditation, quality assurance reviews, institutional visits, self-assessment reports, and implementation of recommendations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in program coordination and administrative roles.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.

Candidates must submit scanned copies of their academic and professional documents. The last education certificate or degree must be attested or verified by HEC. Applicants with a third division in their academic record or a weak academic profile may be deemed ineligible. Current employees of NUST with less than one year of service or without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Institution will not be considered. Candidates pursuing the required degree or those medically unfit are also ineligible. Government employees and armed forces personnel should apply through their respective parent departments or organizations.
