Project-Based PLC & Microcontroller Programmer

Khawaja Industrial Group is seeking a skilled and hands-on programmer to develop and build control systems for industrial applications. This role is project-based and offered on a contract or freelance basis, with a fixed fee negotiated before the start of each project. The position involves both software development—programming PLCs and microcontrollers—and hardware tasks such as designing, wiring, and assembling circuits and control setups. The work will be conducted on-site at Raiwind Road, Lahore, Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities
- Program PLCs and microcontrollers to fulfill the control and automation requirements of each project.
- Design, wire, and assemble circuits including sensors, actuators, relays, and power connections.
- Test, troubleshoot, and commission control systems to ensure proper functionality before handover.
- Provide basic documentation for each project, including wiring diagrams and programming notes.
- Collaborate with management to agree on project scope, timelines, and fixed rates prior to commencement.

Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in at least the third year of a relevant degree such as Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a similar field, or holding a relevant technical qualification from Pakistan (for example, a Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical or Electronics).
- Practical knowledge of programming microcontrollers and/or PLCs.
- Ability to read circuit schematics and build circuits accordingly.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site at the Raiwind Road location as projects demand.

Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience working with industrial PLCs or microcontrollers in a factory or production environment.
- Familiarity with industrial wiring standards and electrical safety protocols.
