Project-Based Remote Architectural / CAD Designer

We are looking for an experienced Architectural/CAD Designer to join our team on a remote, freelance, project-based arrangement. The primary focus of this role is to develop detailed, construction-ready floor plans for commercial franchise locations. The initial project involves creating a comprehensive set of architectural plans for a commercial space, based on provided design requirements, measurements, and specifications. Once approved, these plans will be adapted for multiple franchise sites, ensuring consistent design and construction standards across all locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed architectural floor plans using AutoCAD or equivalent professional software.
- Create floor plans that accurately reflect provided measurements, layouts, design guidelines, and project specifications.
- Include precise dimensions, walls, doors, windows, fixtures, equipment, and other architectural elements.
- Produce professional drawings suitable for review by licensed architects or engineers, facilitating permitting and stamping processes.
- Establish and maintain a consistent drawing standard that can be replicated across various franchise locations.
- Revise drawings promptly in response to feedback and changing project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings maintain accurate dimensions, scale, annotations, symbols, and organized layers.
- Deliver final files in DWG and PDF formats.
- Follow established branding, design, and construction guidelines throughout the project.
- Communicate clearly regarding measurements, design constraints, and any additional information needed to complete the plans effectively.

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in producing architectural and construction drawings.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Solid understanding of architectural drafting principles and construction documentation.
- Ability to create accurate, detailed, and professional construction drawings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of dimensions, scale, annotations, doors, windows, walls, fixtures, and construction details.
- Capability to work independently and meet project deadlines consistently.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to incorporate revisions quickly and accurately based on feedback.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working with commercial floor plans is highly desirable.
- Previous involvement with franchise projects or repeatable commercial design assignments is an advantage.
- This role offers the flexibility of remote work.
- Compensation ranges from Rs50,000 to Rs70,000 per month, depending on experience and project scope.
- The initial project will establish the standard design package, with potential for ongoing work adapting plans for multiple franchise sites.

This position requires more than basic drafting skills; the ideal candidate will be adept at translating design concepts, measurements, and requirements into a comprehensive, professional construction drawing package. The drawings produced will be submitted to licensed architects or engineers for review and stamping, making precision and professionalism essential to success in this role.
