Project Coordinator (Night Shift)

Global Engineering Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join their team. This role involves managing turnkey project requests, coordinating between engineering, materials, vendors, and customers, and ensuring smooth project execution from initiation through delivery. The position operates on a night shift schedule from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday, based in the Gulberg III office in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in project coordination within engineering or manufacturing environments, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review turnkey project RFQs, assign job numbers, and initiate projects.
- Ensure RFQs contain accurate and complete data for PCB fabrication and coordinate with project managers and customers to resolve missing information.
- Confirm quantity and turnaround time requirements with customers and project managers to prepare accurate quotations.
- Collect preliminary data from the Engineering team for fabrication, BOM, and assembly quotes.
- Identify appropriate vendors based on PCB technology requirements and request quotes accordingly.
- Forward fabrication data to vendors and BOM to the Material Department for costing and quotations.
- Collaborate with the Material Department to review BOM for issue items, lead times, shortages, and alternative components.
- Verify any special material requirements for bare PCB fabrication.
- Validate vendor quotes against fabrication drawings, specifications, and file information before sharing with project managers.
- Prepare and send final quotations to customers, clearly communicating component issues and lead times.
- Confirm final fabrication data with project managers before proceeding with fabrication.
- Facilitate coordination between customers and engineers regarding layout and schematics.
- Resolve Engineering Questions (EQs) in collaboration with the internal engineering team or project managers and customers.
- Submit the final BOM to the Material Department and generate system reports to identify material shortages and place orders.
- Monitor receipt timelines of BOM items and ensure kits are complete and ready for assembly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for customer-consigned items and track shipments between the US and Malaysia.
- Manage all PCB orders for customers and project managers through the team.
- Oversee manufacturing and assembly progress to ensure compliance with quality standards, timelines, scope, and budget.
- Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks and issues.
- Obtain shipment tracking numbers from fabrication houses, share updates with the US team, and track shipments until delivery in the USA.
- Maintain regular and professional communication with US customers and the US team, providing timely project status updates.
- Prepare daily status reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation and tracking.
- Support financial control, cost monitoring, and successful project closure activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in BBA, MBA (Project Management), or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in project coordination or a similar role.
- Fluent spoken English is mandatory for direct communication with US customers.
- Ability to work effectively during the night shift (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM) at the Lahore office.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Work Location:
This position requires in-person attendance at the Gulberg III office in Lahore.
