Project Director – Embedded Systems

TeReSol (Private) Limited, based in DHA Phase II, Islamabad, is looking for experienced Project Directors specializing in Embedded Systems to lead and oversee complex development projects. The role requires a visionary leader with over 15 years of experience in embedded systems engineering and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of embedded systems development projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management. Provide strong technical leadership in embedded software, firmware, hardware integration, and system architecture. Guide engineering teams working with C/C++, microcontroller platforms, SoC integration, embedded Linux, and real-time operating systems (RTOS). Oversee hardware-software co-design, board bring-up, peripheral interfacing, and system-level troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards throughout the project. Coordinate effectively with senior management, clients, and cross-functional teams to align project goals. Monitor project progress, resolve technical challenges promptly, and deliver regular status reports. Mentor and develop engineering teams to foster continuous improvement in development processes.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is mandatory. Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience in embedded systems development and engineering. Proven expertise in embedded systems architecture, firmware development, and system integration is essential. Proficiency in C/C++ and low-level embedded programming is required. Extensive experience with microcontroller platforms such as ARM Cortex-M, AVR, PIC, or similar SoCs is expected. Strong knowledge of embedded Linux and RTOS platforms like FreeRTOS or Zephyr is necessary. Experience in hardware-software co-design, device drivers, and peripheral interfacing is critical. Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques, including GDB, JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers, is important. Demonstrated ability to lead large engineering teams and manage complex technical projects is required. Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role.
