The candidate will be responsible for addressing daily site challenges, coordinating material deliveries, and maintaining clear communication with seniors and stakeholders. They will also oversee inspections, quality checks, and documentation related to civil works, ensuring all activities adhere to approved drawings and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain effective correspondence with the design team, site team, and subcontractors to facilitate close working relationships.
- Resolve daily site progress issues promptly to avoid delays.
- Conduct quality checks on materials in accordance with approved drawings.
- Coordinate with concrete suppliers regarding quantities and delivery schedules.
- Provide timely material updates to senior management.
- Perform pre-inspections alongside subcontractors to ensure readiness.
- Collaborate with the MEP team to obtain civil work clearance during inspections.
- Manage internal planning and maintain accurate documentation.
- Work closely with EHS officers to promote safe and healthy working conditions.
- Coordinate civil lab testing for material approvals within required timelines.
- Handle concrete cylinder reporting and related documentation.
- Address store-related matters on site, including material management.
- Resolve administrative issues involving contractors, clients, and subcontractors.
- Manage quantity surveying concerns on site, such as steel and material quantities.
- Supervise subcontractor activities directly to ensure compliance and quality.
- Conduct daily inspections with clients to review site activities.
- Participate in management meetings to provide site updates and discuss future plans.
- Regularly update planning sheets to reflect current progress.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues related to construction to maintain workflow.
- Liaise with consultants on RFI (Request for Information) issues and inspection activities.
- Verify bills and ensure accuracy in financial documentation.
- Communicate effectively regarding BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and specifications.
- Coordinate with designers for drawing preparation, data collection, and approvals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in civil construction project management or site supervision.
