The Project Head for the Islamabad Campus will be responsible for leading and coordinating all administrative, project development, resource mobilization, and external stakeholder engagement activities related to the establishment of the IBA Islamabad Campus. This role demands effective collaboration with DHA, IBA Foundation, government authorities, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure the project progresses smoothly and meets all deadlines. The Project Head will play a pivotal role in managing permissions, regulatory approvals, and facilitating communication among various parties to guarantee timely and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all administrative and project-related activities for the Islamabad Campus, ensuring progress aligns with established milestones and timelines.
- Coordinate closely with DHA and relevant authorities to manage campus construction, obtain necessary permissions, NOCs, regulatory approvals, and other compliance requirements.
- Facilitate engagement with government departments, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory bodies to secure required clearances and maintain smooth operational flow.
- Support resource mobilization efforts and foster stakeholder engagement with the IBA Foundation, DHA, and other potential partners or donors.
- Collaborate with project consultants, architects, contractors, procurement, finance, and internal teams to develop BoQ-based drawings, plan projects, manage procurement, and oversee execution.
- Enable the formation and effective functioning of the Islamabad Campus Managing Committee by coordinating activities among IBA, DHA, and other designated stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university or institute.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 8 to 10 years of experience specifically in project administration, infrastructure or project development, stakeholder management, government liaison, or institutional development.
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies
- A Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification will be considered an advantage.
- Strong expertise in project planning, documentation, stakeholder coordination, regulatory compliance, and project monitoring.
- Practical knowledge of BoQs, construction and project documentation, procurement processes, NOCs, and government regulatory procedures.
- Proven skills in project and administrative management, government and stakeholder liaison, infrastructure development, and resource mobilization.
