Project Manager (Client-Focused)

Haball is seeking a client-focused Project Manager who can effectively bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. The ideal candidate will build strong client relationships and ensure the smooth, timely, and successful delivery of fintech solutions. This role requires someone who excels at managing client expectations, coordinating cross-functional teams, resolving project challenges, and driving projects from initiation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication, providing timely updates, and managing expectations effectively.
- Translate client requirements into actionable project plans, ensuring alignment between clients and internal teams.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, guaranteeing smooth execution, on-time delivery, and adherence to scope and quality standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Development, QA, and Business Analysis to ensure seamless collaboration and timely completion of deliverables.
- Facilitate client meetings, project kick-offs, requirement discussions, progress reviews, and status updates.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, proactively addressing bottlenecks and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Collaborate with banks, payment gateways, financial institutions, and external partners to ensure successful integrations and implementations.
- Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage sprints, backlogs, deliverables, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, track progress, and provide transparent reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure successful project handover, client satisfaction, and alignment between delivered solutions and business objectives.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 6 years of Project Management experience within FinTech, Payments, Banking, or Software Development domains.
- Proven track record in client-facing project management, stakeholder engagement, and managing client expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage software projects from requirements gathering through implementation and delivery.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including Developers, QA Engineers, and Business Analysts.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycles.
- Familiarity with digital payments, financing solutions, banking integrations, and the broader fintech ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Figma, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, planning, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and meeting challenging deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working directly with banks, payment gateways, or financial institutions is highly advantageous.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other relevant credentials will be considered a strong plus.
