Project Manager - Data Insights

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with leadership to define quarterly or bi-annual plans, roadmaps, objectives, scope, and deliverables for engineering projects. Develop detailed project plans with engineering teams, outlining tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and managing dependencies and risks. Coordinate and align cross-functional teams including design, product, and engineering to foster effective communication, collaboration, and decision-making.

Facilitate daily scrum meetings, resolve roadblocks or conflicts, and manage follow-ups with stakeholders. Organize meetings between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment. Monitor project execution to ensure adherence to plans, track milestones, and provide weekly status updates to stakeholders.

Identify risks and blockers proactively, applying appropriate mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum. Lead and improve sprint rituals such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos. Maintain accurate tracking of team assignments and project statuses across tools, boards, and dashboards. Ensure timely responses in internal communication channels to support team collaboration.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements that boost team productivity and efficiency. Lead quarterly and project-level retrospectives to capture key learnings and drive organizational growth.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in program or project management within software development environments. A technical background or degree is strongly preferred. Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Coda is essential. Exceptional organizational and communication skills are required, along with demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams without direct authority.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data are necessary. Candidates must be adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, showing willingness to contribute wherever needed. Solid experience with Agile methodologies is expected; certifications such as CSM or PMP are advantageous.
