We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager with over 15 years of experience to lead Oracle migration projects within the Life Sciences sector. This position is based in Hyderabad and offers flexible working options, including open, hybrid, or onsite arrangements. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Oracle enterprise systems and strong leadership skills to manage complex stakeholder relationships, budgets, and strategic technology programs. Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, or healthcare technology is highly valued, especially with a solid understanding of regulatory compliance and data integrity. A strong background in financial governance, budgeting, and cost control within enterprise IT programs is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle delivery of complex Oracle-based IT projects and transformation initiatives, from initial planning through execution, risk management, and successful delivery. Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, defining timelines, milestones, and success criteria to ensure objectives are achieved. Oversee Oracle technology implementations, upgrades, and integrations involving Oracle ERP, Oracle Cloud, Oracle Financials, Oracle SCM, and related enterprise applications. Collaborate closely with architects, functional leads, and technical teams to deliver scalable and compliant solutions. Act as a trusted liaison between business leaders, finance teams, and IT stakeholders by effectively communicating project status, risks, financials, and progress to senior leadership. Manage large project budgets by tracking costs, forecasting expenditures, and ensuring financial targets are met, working in partnership with finance teams on ROI tracking and investment justification. Maintain a thorough understanding of life sciences regulatory environments, including GxP, validation processes, and compliance requirements, ensuring all projects align with quality and regulatory standards. Lead cross-functional teams composed of developers, business analysts, QA professionals, and external vendors, while mentoring junior project managers and delivery leads. Identify and mitigate project risks proactively, ensuring adherence to enterprise governance, compliance, and security standards.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 15 years of IT experience with significant exposure to enterprise project management. Proven success managing Oracle-based implementations or transformation programs. Experience handling large, multi-stakeholder enterprise projects. Strong knowledge of IT financial management, budgeting, and cost governance. Exposure to Life Sciences, Pharma, or Healthcare IT environments is preferred. Experience managing global teams and vendor partners. Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP and Oracle Cloud applications. Familiarity with regulated environments and compliance frameworks. Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies. Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are advantageous. Demonstrated maturity and leadership presence developed through extensive enterprise delivery experience. Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics with strong financial and business acumen. Structured thinking and excellent problem-solving skills to drive outcomes in large, complex IT environments.
