Project Manager (Infrastructure & IoT Deployments)

PLC Group, a global leader in critical facilities and infrastructure management solutions, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure rollouts. The successful candidate will manage the deployment of hardware and software systems, acting as the key liaison between enterprise clients—such as telecom operators and data center directors—and internal teams including engineering, software development, and field operations. This role is based onsite in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad, within the Project Management Office and requires full-time commitment.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Turnkey Delivery: Lead the deployment of PLC Group’s Remote Monitoring & Control (RMC) ecosystems, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and meet profitability targets.

Client & Stakeholder Leadership: Serve as the primary contact for enterprise clients, translating complex technical telemetry into clear business updates and facilitating steering committee meetings.

Cross-Functional Orchestration: Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Data Architects, Hardware Supply Chain, and Software Development teams to synchronize field edge-device installations with cloud platform provisioning.

Budget & P&L Oversight: Monitor project CAPEX and OPEX, manage financial reporting for clients, and document contractual energy savings or Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) improvements.

Quality Assurance & Risk Mitigation: Oversee site audits, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). Proactively address risks related to industrial communication protocols (Modbus, SNMP, BACnet) and potential site-access delays.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 4 years in project management within telecom infrastructure, mission-critical data centers, industrial automation, or Building Management Systems (BMS).

Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly preferred.

Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of Industrial IoT (IIoT), remote monitoring systems, DC power plants, generator controllers, and HVAC systems. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, SNMP, and MQTT is a significant advantage.

Software Skills: Proficiency in modern project management tools including Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Monday.com.

Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel to local data center and telecom cluster sites as required.
