Abacus is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our expanding team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will oversee client projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent stakeholder management, and a passion for driving successful project outcomes. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams, playing a key role in the growth and success of our consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Initiation
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with clients and internal teams.
- Develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Conduct kickoff meetings to align all stakeholders on project goals.
- Assign project tasks and allocate resources efficiently.

Project Execution & Monitoring
- Manage daily project activities to ensure alignment with planned objectives.
- Track timelines, budgets, deliverables, and resource utilization.
- Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
- Use project management software for progress tracking and reporting.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with project teams and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Provide timely updates on project status, changes, and challenges.
- Manage client expectations to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Lead stakeholder meetings and deliver presentations.

Technical Insight
- Understand key technical elements relevant to the project scope, such as software development, IT systems, or engineering processes.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure project feasibility and quality.
- Identify and address technical risks and constraints.

Project Closure
- Ensure all deliverables are finalized, approved, and properly documented.
- Lead post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned.
- Prepare and present project closure reports and ensure documentation is archived.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of practical project management experience.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Technical understanding of relevant domains, including software development lifecycle, data analytics, or cloud solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
