Proposal & Pursuit Specialist - Clients & Industries (C&I) - Pakistan

EY is seeking a Deal Specialist to join the MENA Pursuits Excellence team, based in Pakistan, Jordan, or Lebanon, within the Markets Enablement function. This role is critical in supporting strategic and high-value pursuits across the MENA region. The successful candidate will lead pursuit planning, coordination, and execution, working closely with client-serving teams to develop winning proposals and effective deal strategies. By applying the Gold Standard Pursuit Process (GSPP) principles and leveraging advanced tools, you will drive disciplined and collaborative efforts across multidisciplinary teams to help EY secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire pursuit lifecycle from qualification through to close, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs aligned with EY’s standards.
- Develop and track detailed pursuit project plans, including timelines, workstreams, dependencies, and key milestones.
- Facilitate pursuit strategy discussions and help craft differentiated win themes that address client needs while safeguarding EY’s interests.
- Create compelling client-facing materials such as proposals, executive summaries, and presentations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Plan and support preparation for oral presentations and client meetings, ensuring strategic messaging is clear and impactful.
- Build and maintain pursuit infrastructure using tools like MS Teams, trackers, calendars, and status updates.
- Coordinate with creative services, insights teams, and other internal resources to enhance proposal quality.
- Capture and share lessons learned to continuously improve EY’s pursuit methodologies and tools.
- Promote and apply AI-enabled proposal development tools to increase innovation and efficiency.
- Act as the central point of alignment for the pursuit team, keeping all members engaged and focused on the win strategy.
- Establish strong working relationships with Service Line, Account, and Business Development leaders.
- Collaborate closely with the Deal Leader to ensure governance, internal updates, and leadership engagement are maintained throughout the pursuit.

- Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear, persuasive, and client-focused content.
- Solid understanding of pursuit and business development processes.
- Ability to influence and challenge teams constructively to enhance strategic thinking and quality outcomes.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with multiple competing priorities.
- Creative and solutions-oriented mindset, skilled at leveraging available tools and resources effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership presence, able to work well with diverse personalities and senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience in proposal writing and communications, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Familiarity with the MENA region’s business culture and client expectations.
- Business proficiency in Arabic is a plus but not required.
