We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimation Engineer to join our team, specializing in steel structure and pre-engineered building (PEB) projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in reviewing tender documents, preparing comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, and collaborating closely with various internal teams to ensure competitive and compliant bids. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in steel structure estimation within a dynamic construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and analyze tender documents, including drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, contractual conditions, and client requirements to ensure thorough understanding.
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for steel structure, PEB, and related construction projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs, material estimation, cost analysis, and develop detailed bid estimates.
- Develop competitive pricing strategies through rate analysis, supplier quotations, subcontractor offers, and assessment of project-specific requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, sales, and project execution teams to gather necessary technical and commercial inputs.
- Identify discrepancies, ambiguities, or missing information in tender documents and prepare clarification requests for clients.
- Compile complete bidding documentation, including technical submissions, commercial offers, compliance statements, schedules, and supporting documents.
- Ensure proposals comply with tender requirements and are submitted within prescribed deadlines.
- Evaluate project-specific risks, commercial conditions, contractual obligations, and potential cost implications during bid preparation.
- Maintain updated records of material prices, supplier quotations, subcontractor rates, and historical bidding data.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve technical and commercial clarifications.
- Support management during bid evaluations, commercial negotiations, post-bid clarifications, and contract finalization.
- Maintain systematic records of submitted bids, bid status, client feedback, and tender outcomes.
- Assist in preparing technical presentations and commercial proposals for prospective clients.
- Contribute to improving bidding procedures, estimation methodologies, proposal templates, and overall tendering efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- 2 to 4 years of experience in civil engineering, construction estimation, or bidding.
- Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in steel structure bidding.
