Siemens is looking for a Proposals Manager to join the Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation team, working remotely on projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while based in Karachi, Pakistan. Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of technical and commercial proposals for Smart Infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Siemens standards.
- Review Requests for Quotations (RFQs), tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify project scope and submission requirements.
- Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary technical and commercial inputs.
- Prepare cost estimation sheets, bid documentation, compliance matrices, and proposal presentations.
- Maintain accurate proposal records, assist with bid submission activities, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of proposal processes and tools.
- Work effectively with various stakeholders throughout the sales phase, ensuring smooth handover to the project execution team.
- Apply strong analytical skills to understand customer challenges and propose optimized solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience and strong interest in proposal management, tendering, sales support, and project business within infrastructure and energy sectors.
- Solid understanding of Medium and Low Voltage systems, protection systems, and substation equipment such as MV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS), Ring Main Units (RMU), and Low Voltage Switchgear (LV SWG).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in reviewing technical and commercial information.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
