A leading Chinese technology company is seeking an experienced PS Core Planning Engineer to join their team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PS core network planning, capacity analysis, network design, optimization, and project support integration. This role demands a thorough understanding of core network elements and the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal teams to ensure network efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network utilization, analyze growth trends, forecast traffic, and perform capacity analysis across PS core network elements.
- Develop and interpret end-to-end High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for PS core products such as SGSN, MME, SGW/PGW, and PCRF/UPF.
- Recommend and implement network optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and improve service quality.
- Coordinate with telecom vendors including Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, and Ericsson, as well as contractors and internal departments, to evaluate vendor proposals and recommend optimal technical solutions.
- Ensure network safety and reliability by taking ownership of related responsibilities.
- Support project integration activities including commissioning, implementation, and acceptance of new network nodes.
- Contribute to team capability building and foster a positive working environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in core network engineering, with a focus on the PS domain.
- Familiarity with basic communication and data communication principles.
- In-depth knowledge of EPC, 5GC, UPCC, NFV architecture, and telecom cloud solutions.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze customer requirements and manage complex issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with technical customers at various levels, from junior engineers to senior management, discussing technical solutions, project plans, and progress updates.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems through accurate analysis and fault localization.
