MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaison with management with respect to information requirement and reporting.
- Transform raw billing data into useful information to be used by the commercial department for multiple purposes, including but not limited to, traffic and revenue trend analysis, package evaluations & new package preparations, churn management, campaign tracking, VAS Analysis, WIN BTS Planning, etc.
- Design data access queries using BI tools such as Micro-Strategy to run in production environment on a regular basis.
- Assist end users with development of complex ad hoc queries and analyses.
- Coordinate the requests from all interested end-user departments.
- Evaluate the nature and cost of a request, assist in setting priorities, gather groups of requests for development in an iterative manner (similar to that used in the original development work), and assist team members with problem solving, enhancement and maintenance efforts, etc.
- Guide the BI team for administration, management, development and deployment of BI/DW tools such as ETL, data quality and cleansing tools, query/reporting tools, OLAP, data mining, etc.
- Manage data warehouse development projects, identify and acquire data from the transaction processing applications, and load that data into the data warehouse.
- Work with end users and business applications analysts to develop high-level business processes.
- Manage Commercial Data Warehouse by designing, building, modelling and maintaining flexible data systems to capture, clean, and transform data from various sources into appropriate analytical outputs.
- Provide analyses and insight for Internal Business Intelligence.
- Conduct various analyses on demand/on regular basis, to be used by the commercial department/management for multiple purposes, including but not limited to Customers, Products, Traffic, Revenue, Services, Network Elements, Complaints, Sales, Channels, etc.
- Facilitate commercial teams regarding their day to day data requirements for product management etc.
- Facilitate end users and coordinate with IT teams for regular reporting and analyses using BI Tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau etc.
