JOB OVERVIEW
The management and maintenance of specified compliance obligations keeping in line with the requirements of emerging local and international laws and changes therein.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversight of the compliance matrix, Compliance knowledge management and procedures to keep the company compliant in all respects, internally and externally.
- Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
- Develop, implement, monitor and enhance the Anti-bribery and Anti-corruption (ABAC) program and carryout periodic ABAC reviews.
- Implement process controls to address compliance risks and contribute to periodic updates of implemented guidelines and controls.
- Collaborate and liaison with other departments (e.g. Risk Management, Internal Audit, Employee Services, Legal department etc.) in order to accurately assess risks and formulate resolutions in the event of non-compliance.
- Prepare quarterly reports on the performance of the Compliance Program to the Corporate Compliance Steering Committee, including drafting qualitative reports, compiling and reporting statistics against the Compliance Index, and drafting of Annual Report.
- Work with the Human Resources and other departments as required to develop an effective compliance training programs.
