We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Officer to join our team, specializing in sourcing premium furniture hardware. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and managing reliable suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining competitive pricing. This role requires strong vendor management skills and a thorough understanding of furniture hardware products and market trends. The successful candidate will work closely with both local and international partners to support our procurement needs and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and onboard dependable suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors of high-quality furniture hardware, including hinges, drawer runners, handles, locks, screws, and brackets.
- Evaluate vendor performance regularly by assessing product quality, delivery schedules, and pricing to ensure optimal supplier reliability.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with hardware associates both locally and internationally to support ongoing procurement activities.
- Stay updated on market trends related to new furniture hardware technologies, smart-furniture accessories, and fluctuations in material costs to inform sourcing decisions.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategies such as bulk purchasing, alternative sourcing, or material substitution to improve procurement efficiency and reduce expenses.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a Purchase Officer, preferably within the furniture manufacturing, interior design, or woodworking industry.
- Deep knowledge of furniture hardware types, materials (such as stainless steel, brass, zinc alloy), and their functionality.
- Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo) and Microsoft Excel for effective inventory and data management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement logistics.
- Proven experience in sourcing architectural and furniture hardware.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs60,000.
