A Purchaser in the decorative paint industry plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth production process by procuring all necessary raw materials. This position requires careful planning to purchase the right materials at the right time, in appropriate quantities, and at competitive prices. The Purchaser collaborates closely with various departments to maintain uninterrupted production and uphold quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess production requirements and arrange for the timely procurement of raw materials.
- Purchase essential paint materials such as Titanium Dioxide, chemicals and additives, resins and emulsions, pigments/colors, solvents, and packing items including buckets, cans, labels, and cartons.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and conduct price comparisons.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to secure favorable agreements.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
- Coordinate effectively with Production, Store, Quality Control, and Accounts departments to ensure alignment.
- Monitor delivery timelines to prevent production delays.
- Inspect received materials to confirm they meet company quality standards.
- Track inventory levels and proactively arrange for materials before shortages occur.
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and potential new suppliers.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
- Proven experience in the decorative paint industry as a Purchaser, with a clear understanding of paint raw materials.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage supplier relationships and follow up on deliveries efficiently.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with ERP systems.
- Willingness to travel extensively (100% required).
- Ability to work on-site at the designated location.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range between Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 70,000 per month.
