We are looking for a talented Python Developer with hands-on experience in Django and/or Flask to join our team in Islamabad. The successful candidate will play a key role in building, maintaining, and scaling web applications while collaborating closely with frontend and product teams. This full-time, in-person position offers a competitive monthly salary of up to Rs250,000 and provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Django and/or Flask frameworks.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend features and integrate third-party services.
- Manage and optimize data storage using relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code adhering to industry best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with frontend developers and product teams to ensure smooth application performance.
- Debug, optimize, and enhance existing applications to improve overall user experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in the Python programming language.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience working specifically with Django; experience with Flask is also valuable.
- Solid understanding of REST API design and MVC architectural principles.
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps concepts to assist with deployment and maintenance processes.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and containerization technologies like Docker.
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is considered a plus.
