Python + React Developer

Webbuggs is looking for a talented MERN Stack Developer to join our onsite team. This role involves working with modern JavaScript technologies to build scalable web applications that address real-world challenges. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development skills, including expertise in database design, REST API development, and frontend frameworks. The position requires working Monday through Friday, from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). Design, optimize, and manage both SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Build and integrate RESTful APIs to ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend systems. Implement secure authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices. Collaborate with the team to integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and cloud services. Use version control systems like Git and GitHub to manage the codebase efficiently. Participate in debugging, unit testing, and performance tuning to improve application reliability.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in MERN stack development is essential. Strong proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js is required. Solid understanding of both SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) is necessary. Experience in database design, including optimization, indexing, joins, stored procedures, and query performance tuning, is expected. Deep knowledge of RESTful API design and integration is important. Proven experience in building secure authentication systems using JWT, OAuth, and RBAC is required. Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Bootstrap is necessary. Familiarity with state management tools like Redux, Context API, and React Hooks is expected. Experience with Git, GitHub, and version control best practices is essential.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with containerization using Docker and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines will be advantageous. Knowledge of cloud deployment platforms such as AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, or Vercel is a plus. Exposure to writing unit tests and applying debugging techniques to ensure code quality is preferred.
