The QA Customer Supply Chain Manager role, located in Lahore, Pakistan, is a critical position responsible for implementing global Quality Assurance Customer Supply Chain (QA CSC) standards across the MEPA region. This role supports both the CSC and Compliance teams by overseeing QA CSC activities specifically within Pakistan. The manager ensures that all products meet food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, effectively aligning factory standards with market expectations. This alignment enables Sales and Commercial teams to confidently deliver compliant, consumer-ready products throughout Pakistan.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the standardization and implementation of the "One Way of Working" (OWOW) across the MEPA region to ensure consistent quality outcomes from the CSC to the market. Drive audit readiness by establishing rigorous regional procedures such as HACCP and Crisis Management. Develop and maintain systems for distributor and warehouse audits to prevent quality failures before products reach their shelf life.
Provide technical QA clearance for all new product launches, ensuring quality is maintained from the first day of transit. Manage risk mitigation activities including logistics trials and storage standards to prevent product damage during distribution and retail handling. Vet and monitor all outsourced partners, including warehouses and co-packers, to ensure compliance with strict Food Safety and Quality (FS&Q) benchmarks.
Oversee consumer and reputation management by managing a rapid complaint registration and resolution system, transforming negative feedback into actionable quality improvements. Lead the FU Crisis Team and conduct mock exercises to maintain business readiness for safety incidents. Serve as the technical authority for all inquiries related to product specifications, ingredients, and origin, maintaining brand trust with customers and regulatory authorities.
Coordinate central communication efforts, ensuring compliance and consistency in report compilation, data analysis, and extraction of key outcomes using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and digital tools for Pakistan and the MEPA region. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including CSC Commercial and Sales, and coordinate with QA specialists across different regions to standardize OWOW practices.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree, preferably in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Total Quality Management (TQM). A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Quality Assurance and performance excellence is essential. Strong analytical skills, particularly in statistical control, combined with excellent communication and clear decision-making capabilities, are required.
Experience working within multifunctional teams and matrix organizations with hierarchical reporting structures is necessary. Proficiency in English and strong IT skills, including Power BI, SPC, SAP, and standard office software, are expected. Demonstrated competence in change management and the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and international settings is important. The candidate must exhibit confidence and leadership to drive transformation from existing workflows to new templates and tools.
