We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our team onsite at Siddiq Trade Center, Gulberg, Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our web and mobile applications by implementing structured and efficient testing processes. This role is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who is eager to contribute to impactful projects and grow within a dynamic technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, write, and execute well-structured test cases based on product requirements. Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly using standard defect tracking tools. Conduct comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile applications. Perform API testing using tools such as Postman. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks. Execute regression, functional, integration, and exploratory testing during release cycles. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high product quality. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and test strategies. Provide clear feedback and detailed reports on defects and overall software performance.
Required Qualifications:
3 to 4 years of proven experience in manual and automation software testing. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience in writing test plans, test cases, and test reports. Hands-on experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Trello. Proficiency with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum environment. Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Experience with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing. Basic SQL knowledge for database validation. Experience testing RESTful APIs and using tools like Postman or Swagger. Exposure to performance or load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
This is a full-time, onsite role based at our office in Siddiq Trade Center, Gulberg, Lahore. Candidates should be comfortable independently writing and executing test cases and test plans, with experience testing both web and mobile applications.
