QA Engineer

We are a USA-based company looking to hire a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in identifying bugs, improving product quality, and working closely with developers to deliver dependable software solutions. The position involves collaboration with a USA-based team and may require overlapping work hours with the US time zone as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and UI testing to ensure high software quality.
- Create clear and detailed test cases, test scenarios, and comprehensive bug reports.
- Work collaboratively with developers and product teams to detect and resolve issues efficiently.
- Participate in enhancing QA processes and contribute to overall product reliability.
- Utilize testing tools such as Jira, Postman, TestRail, Selenium, Playwright, or similar platforms to support testing efforts.

Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional experience in quality assurance or software testing; additional experience is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual testing across various types including functional, regression, integration, and UI.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate well within a team.
- Experience with testing tools such as Jira, Postman, TestRail, Selenium, or Playwright is preferred.
- Candidates must be based in Lahore, Pakistan.
- Female candidates are strongly preferred for this role.
- Willingness and ability to coordinate work hours with a USA-based team.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with API testing and automation testing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and Git version control systems.
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
- Previous experience working with international or US-based companies is beneficial.
