Sidat Technologies & Digital is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join their team. This internship offers hands-on experience in testing and evaluating a variety of digital products, including websites, e-commerce platforms, and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities
Assist in manual testing of websites, web applications, and mobile apps to identify bugs and issues. Help write and execute test cases and use cases based on project requirements. Log and report bugs clearly using bug-tracking tools under supervision. Support functional, regression, UI/UX, and cross-browser/device testing efforts. Coordinate with developers and project managers to track the resolution of issues. Assist in retesting resolved bugs before final release. Help prepare QA documentation and test reports. Learn and adhere to quality standards to ensure deliverables meet client expectations. Validate APIs using tools such as Postman.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field, with students in their 8th semester encouraged to apply. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and website functionality is essential. Familiarity with browser Developer Tools, including inspecting elements and checking console and network logs, is required. Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets for logging test cases and bugs is necessary. Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills. Good written and verbal communication skills are important. A willingness to learn testing tools and QA methodologies on the job is expected. Ability to work effectively within a team environment is essential.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
The internship duration is three months, based at the company’s office in SMCHS Block A, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi, requiring in-person attendance. Working days are Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. A stipend is provided during the internship period. There is potential for full-time employment based on performance.
