QA Mobile Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Mobile Tester with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, high-performance mobile applications across both iOS and Android platforms. Your primary focus will be on executing comprehensive end-to-end testing, identifying complex bugs, and collaborating closely with developers to enhance the user experience on various devices and operating system versions. Knowledge of web-based systems is considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Test Execution: Conduct manual functional, regression, sanity, and UI/UX testing on native, hybrid, and web mobile applications to ensure optimal performance and usability.

Bug Life Cycle: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira. Verify bug fixes and perform impact analysis on related features to maintain application stability.

Device Compatibility: Test applications across a broad range of physical devices and simulators to guarantee consistent performance and user experience.

Test Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and requirement traceability matrices to support thorough testing processes.

API Testing: Validate backend communication by inspecting network traffic to ensure seamless integration and data flow.

Automation Support: Assist in maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Appium or Selenium and execute existing automation suites to improve testing efficiency.

Log Analysis: Extract and analyze device logs to provide developers with detailed technical information necessary for effective troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

Platforms: Proficiency in testing Android and iOS ecosystems, along with familiarity with web-based systems.

Proxy Tools: Experience using network debugging tools such as Charles Proxy or Fiddler.

Automation (Junior Level): Basic understanding of Java or Python programming languages and exposure to automation frameworks like Appium or Espresso.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a dedicated Mobile QA role, demonstrating a solid foundation in mobile application testing.

Analytical Thinking: Ability to approach testing from an end-user perspective while understanding underlying technical constraints.

Communication: Strong skills in articulating technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
