QA/QC (Document Controller) - Steel Structure

GST Saudi is seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Documentation Controller with experience in Steel Structure, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), and fabrication projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling all QA/QC documentation related to steel structure projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gujranwala.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control all QA/QC documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Quality Plans, Checklists, Inspection Reports (IRs), Material Inspection Reports (MIRs), and Material Test Certificates (MTCs).
- Maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), Welder Performance Qualification/Welding Procedure Qualification Tests (WPQ/WQT), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) reports, welding, and inspection records.
- Coordinate effectively with QA/QC, production, fabrication, and project teams to ensure smooth documentation flow and compliance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and closure records.
- Ensure all documentation complies with relevant project specifications, industry codes such as AWS, ASME, ISO, and client requirements.
- Manage documentation related to client, consultant, and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) audits and inspections.
- Compile and finalize project dossiers and handover documentation upon project completion.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in QA/QC documentation control, preferably within steel structure, PEB, or fabrication projects.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC documentation processes, welding procedures, and NDT records.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and document control systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively across multiple teams.
